Abilities: Experience in martial arts but surprisingly has great strength and can somehow create clones of himself. Although he trains while carrying a giant Sega Saturn Console.

Weapons: None for the most part.

Bio: Sanshiro lives as a hermit high on a mountain, devoting his life to intensive Sega Saturn training. He trains physically every day by carrying around a giant Sega Saturn on his back and punching buttons on its giant controller. He also frequently visits the city to seek out people who are not playing the Sega Saturn, and harshly teaches them a lesson. Sanshiro is a serious man with a firm sense of duty, who believes that playing video games is one of the most treasured activities in life.

Intro: Segata Sanshiro is seen running in carrying a giant Sega Saturn, as he is by his teammates he’ll drop it and get into his fighting stance.

Backward-Heavy (Ground Only): Iron Body

Segata Sanshiro will open up his gi for a few seconds, if the opponent uses any projectile against him while he is like this (normal moves, not super moves) the projectile will bounce right back.


Heavy (Mash, ground only): Button Mash

Segata Sanshiro will pound his fists at the ground which do multiple hits and hits off the ground.

Down-Forward-Attack: Headbutt

Segata Sanshiro will do a headbutt aimed low, hits overhead and causes a ground bounce. The button differs the damage.

Forward-Down-Forward-Attack: Homerun Kick

Segata Sanshiro will deliver a curved kick attack.

The Light version causes a hard knockdown, medium a hard knockback and, and heavy causes a wall bounce.  

This move can also deflect projectiles back at the opponent.

Down-Backward-Light: Goal Slam

Segata Sanshiro will suddenly swing a football goal downwards which hits off the ground and causes a ground bounce afterwards.

Segata Sanshiro will do a jumping kick while flying forwards, comes out fast and causes a hard knockdown.

Down-Backward-Heavy: Rushing Grab

Segata Sanshiro will rush at the opponent to grab the opponent, if he connects he’ll grab the opponent and then does a strong Judo Toss to have the opponent to be slammed into the ground behind him, this attack causes a ground bounce.

Down-Forward-Attack X2 (Can also be done in the air): Missile Rider

Segata Sanshiro will suddenly appear riding on a missile shouting out “For the Sega Saturn!” he’ll then rush forward with the missile, goes full screen and does multiple hits and explodes at the end. But sadly this explosion hurts both Segata Sanshiro and the opponent.

Down-Backwards-Attack X2: Sanshiro Army

An army Segata Sanshiro clones all shout out “Touya!” while spreading their legs and raise their arms out. Seconds later they will all rush at the opponent, similar to one of Strider’s and Tron Bonne’s super moves this attack hits off the ground.

Forward-Down-Forward-Attack X2 (Level 3): Explosive Judo Toss

Segata Sanshiro will say “There’s our goal! Take it!” as he…suddenly grabs a soccer player from nowhere and chucks him at the opponent, if he connects a cutscene will occur.

In slow motion the soccer player’s head hits the opponent and the opponent somehow gets sent flying back but suddenly bounces against an invisible wall, Segata Sanshiro will walk forward slowly and and then catches the opponent, he’ll then say “HMMMM….” As he sudden turns around and Judo tosses the opponent far while saying “Touya!”, Segata Sanshiro will then turn around and walks away as the opponent lands on the ground behind him and suddenly explodes as Segata continues into the foreground and says “Sega Saturn!”
