Profile:
Name: Takashi Kumoro
First Appearance: Highschool of the Dead: Chapter 1 (2003)
Occupation: Highschool student.
Abilities: No special powers, but is skilled in close combat and is good at getting headshots.
Weapons: Baseball bat, firearms, anything he could get his hands on.
Bio: Takashi was sulking highschool student after a sudden end in his relationship with a childhood friend. But his time was interrupted when a sudden global outbreak overrun by “Them” start to spawn he gathers up a band of survivors formed of his classmates and survives as long as they can in the apocalypse.
Intro: Takashi walks into the stage carrying a baseball bat. As he stops next to his team mates he swings his baseball bat over his shoulder.

“Not really three against three, but the bigger the group the higher chance of survival.”

Down-Forward-Attack: Melee Weapon
Takashi will use a melee weapon to attack with.
Light: Takashi swings his bat, just like with Frank West’s bat move this also causes a hard knockback and a wall bounce but by pressing Light again Takashi will swing it again but this time he’ll swing three baseballs with one swing at the opponent creating a projectile attack.
Medium: Takashi uses a Shovel. Takashi will first hit the opponent with the back of it into the chest a multiple times. Pressing medium again will have Takashi flip the shovel around to attack with the blade and again into the chest multiple times before raising the shovel upwards which actually causes a launcher.
Heavy: Takashi uses a crowbar; he will swing it downwards and despite the strength he puts into it, it actually causes a ground bounce. Pressing heavy again will have Takashi perform one hard slam to the opponent on the ground with it and will then quickly hitting the opponent with five more times. This move causes a greater ground bounce.

Forward-Down-Forward-Attack: Gunfire.
Takashi will attack with different firearms; however this move can be followed up with another attack by pressing the same attack button for that move as Takashi doesn’t fire his guns at first.
The Light version has Takashi swipe his revolver out hitting the opponent across the face with it as it passes by and does it that four more times; by pressing the light button again he will then kick the opponent forward and then shooting a single shot at the opponent causing a hard knockback.
The Medium version will have him bring out a 12 Gauge Shot Gun. First he will quickly strike the opponent against the face with the back of it before hitting the opponent across the face with the side of it. Pressing Medium again will have him slowly walk forward while firing the weapon three times; the third round causes a wall bounce.
The Heave version has Takashi bring out an AK-47; first hitting the opponent in the face with the back of it, and then doing it again with the back of the opponents head, and finally doing it again by shoving it into the opponent’s chest (causing the opponent to be lifted off the ground a few inches). Pressing heavy again will have him fire the AK-47 at the opponent a few times before shooting out a grenade from its grenade launcher.

Down-Backward-Attack: Friendly Gunfire Assistance.
Takashi will say a member of his Survival Group in which they would perform different attacks. By pressing the same attack button after they perform their attack they’ll attack again with a more powerful attack.
Light: Takashi calls out Saya Takagi who will then first preform a close range by jabbing a power drill into the opponent’s chest that does little damage. By pressing Light again she’ll then quickly throw away the drill and brings out a pistol which she uses to shoot straight at the opponent with, not powerful but does better damage and she shoots about six bullets.
Medium: Takashi calls out Rei Miyamoto who will then first swing a broken broom stick at the opponent a couple of times before performing a stab to the chest. Pressing Medium again will she will bring Semi-Automatic Auto Rifle with a Bayonet attached to it; she then slash the opponent with the bayonet multiple times before shooting at the opponent with that causes a hard knockback.
Hard: Takashi calls out Kohta Hirano who will come out (smiling like a maniac) and first starts shooting at the opponent with a nail gun which he would shoot about five nails with. Pressing Heave again will quickly have him bring out a Sniper Rifle which he would only use one shot with but it’s a powerful shot that causes a wall bounce.

Backward-Down-Backward-Attack: Water Hose.
Takashi will bring out a long water hose to shoot at the opponent with.
Although it doesn’t hurt the opponent what it does however is push the opponent back. The button depends on the strength but does not give duration. Such as the light version last the longest but isn’t strong but slows down the opponent while the heavy version pushes the opponent back the farthest for being the strongest but doesn’t last very long. The medium version is a balanced form. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[HYPER COMBOS:]
Forward-Down X2: Squad of the Dead.
Takashi says “I got some friends!” then Saya, Kohta and Rei will all come out onto the battlefield each of them shooting guns at the opponent while Takashi himself brings out a firearm of his own.
At first they would all shoot with handguns (with each member having a different variation of a hand gun) then switching to different types of a rapid firing firearm, and to finish it all expect for Takashi fire several rounds of Shotgun ammo into the opponent as Takashi throws a Molotov at the opponent.
When the Molotov lands onto the ground it actually creates a pool of fire for a short period of time after the super ends still damaging the opponent if he/she is still on contact with it leaving him/her trapped.
This would allow Takashi to quickly preform more combos this way.

Down-Backward-Forward X2: Rider of the Dead.
Takashi will suddenly appear on a motorcycle saying “Now that’s what I’m talking about!” he will then he will ride towards the opponent at a fast paste; similar to Ghost Rider’s super move but with this one Takashi only goes forward, but it’s worth about 22 hits, after words Takashi would quickly jump off the motorcycle that drives the opponent to the edge of the screen causing an explosion dealing more damage.

Forward-Down-Forward X2 (Level 3): Bombing of the Dead
Takashi will say “Let’s end this little roadtrip….” he will then swing his baseball bat, if it connects a cutscene will occur (NOTE: This is a short ranged attack, so it can only be activated when the opponent is close)
It would first show the opponent being send flying across the battlefield and lands in the centre of a group of “Them” the opponent gets up panicking about the surrounding undead enemies that go towards him. A bunch of “Them” grab him/her while one proceeds to bite him/her but in the nick of time a Humvee suddenly appears from nowhere killing “Them” but as for the opponent he/she is seen being pushed by the front of the Humvee somehow stuck to its front as it drives along fast.
Along the way the Humvee hits more of “Them” as it goes along causing damage to the opponent
The Humvee suddenly stops forcing the opponent to be sent off flying again into another group of “them” but it’s not just the opponent and “Them” but also a Tank Truck behind them.
The Humvee door opens up on the top to reveal Takashi with a sniper rifle and says “With a freaking bang!”

Victory: Takashi would be standing there swinging his bat over his shoulder again, but one of “Them” walks up behind him. Takashi quickly turns around and hits it in the head killing it. He’ll then turn back to put the bat back over his shoulder.

I do not own Highschool of the Dead.
Before i get onto the moveset itself let me just say my opinion on this anime/manga
Now...Highschool of the dead, tell me how many anime out there uses Romero-Type zombies before? We had zombie anime before but they would mostly focus on the old classic voodoo zombies or just "zombies" that still have their intelligence or "zombies" meaning people who are still themselves just are already dead/can't die.
But this anime uses the Romero zombie way. The type that are infected with a virus, the type that if they bite you you become a zombie pretty much everything you see in a western zombie film/game which is what i love about this manga/anime. Heck even in the anime and manga they don't call the undead "Zombies" they call them by "Them" just like with the original Night of the Living Dead, they were never called zombies they were just called "Them" or "Those things"
It's a unique take on it but sadly the manga is on hiatus and there is no and possibly won't be a season 2 of this anime. At one confension this was called "worst anime of all time" now....this aint the best anime but it's not the worst either in fact that source is the only one i could find that calls it "worst anime" I've seen Highschool of the Dead in other lists like "Anime that needs a season 2" or "My top 10 favourite violent anime" ETC.
The most compaints about this is because of the "Fan service" now....i agree it is overused and distracting (especially seeing a zombie chicks underwear.....eh...) and this might be the main reason why it never got one.
All becaues of Fan-Service? That's hitting below the belt don't you think? If you think fan service or an anime being ecchie is the reason why there won't be a season 2 of this then explain Highschool DXD! That's like the most ecchiest anime i have ever seen in my life and a third season has been recently announced and that anime is believe it or not a "Shonen" anime. Not Shonen Jump, but a Shonen just like this anime right here.
How did that anime which is ecchi through the roof get more seasons then this? I'm sorry, i like Highscool DXD as well but come on!
Well there was a good reason why it was delayed when season 2 was "announced" it's because a few months after that the Japanese tsunami happened....that's a good reason.
Anyhow about Takashi's moveset.
I had a hard time with this one; in later parts of the manga he uses guns while in some early chapters he would use melee weapons and i know if only concentrated one or the other he would either become a Frank West or Chris clone so i decided to merge the two together.
I'm not a big fan of having characters as assists in moves (that is if i wanted that character to playable) but i needed more moves and i felt like the other band of survivors need to join the fight so i though "Why not, give him a Captain Commando attack and I'll call it a day"
His level 3 super was inspired by Frank Wests level 3 in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom that he uses against the giant characters (the only character that i know off that has two version of level 3s depending on the opponent)
Speaking of which i bet your wandering: "Hey...where is Saeko? You know the hot purple haired swords woman? The badass? The girl that people ship her with Takashi more than people who ship Takashi and Rei? You know? Her!"
Well....hehehe...i have plans for her (I hope that doesn't sound creepy in anyway)
But here it is, i'm going to be doing at least five more anime/manga characters.

Well....hehehe...i have plans for her (I hope that doesn't sound creepy in anyway)
But here it is, i'm going to be doing at least five more anime/manga characters.
