Name: Vile

First Appearance:  Mega Man X

Occupation: Former Maverick Hunter

Abilities: Can copy the weapons of others and use them at will.

Weapons: Arm Cannons, Shoulder Cannons, Rocket Punches, Vile is armed to the teeth.

Bio: Before Sigma declared war on humanity; Vile was a Maverick Hunter but never considered himself as one. He disobeyed orders from superior officers and/or threatened the safety of his comrades and innocent bystanders while hunting Mavericks which got him arrested. Sigma eventually breaks him out and offers him to join. While Vile works for Sigma he is still disrespectful towards his savior and doesn’t side with either Maverick or Hunter.

Intro: Vile is seen in his Ride Armor. He then hops out to fight on foot and then get into his fighting stance.

[SPECIAL MOVES]

Heavy (Mash, can also be done in the air): Front Runner

Vile will shoot a barrage of shots from his Shoulder Cannon in which the bullets fire in all directions in front of him.

Forward-Heavy (Can also be done in the air): Spoiled Brat

Vile will shoot his fist out like a rocket that travels full screen and causes a hit stun. On the ground he aims straight while in the air he aims downwards at an angle which also hits overhead.

Down-Forward-Light (Can also be done in the air): Parasite Sword

Vile will fire a purple cutter from his Shoulder Cannon which travels full screen.

It does decent damage and causes a hit stun up close but the farther it travels the bigger the projectile becomes, the more damage it’ll do and the more hit stun it would do.

Down-Forward-Medium (Can also be done in the air): Longshot Gizmo

Vile will fire five energy shots from his Shoulder Cannon which all travel straight and go fullscreen on the ground while in the air he aims downwards at an angle.

The only problem is these projectiles are slow and when Vile fires all five of them at the same time he is left vulnerable.

Down-Forward-Heavy (Can also be done in the air): Popcorn Demon

Vile will fire a single missile that travels half screen but while doing so the missile splits up into two other missiles with one going up at an angle and one going down at an angle while multiplying into seven more missiles.

This projectile is good to cover the screen since airborne opponents can get hit by this move and in the air it’s good against ground opponents due to the ones going down.

Down-Forward-Attack (During Ride Armor): Ride Gunner

Vile will shoot a projectile from his Ride Armor.

Light: Fires a ball of electricity that rolls across the floor that stuns the opponent on contact for a small period of time. It also hits off the ground.

Medium: Fires a barrage of bullets from his Rider Armor’s machinegun in a straight pattern.

Heavy: Fires a barrage of bullets from his Rider Armor’s machinegun, first aiming low in front of him before firing across the ground. This attack also his off the ground.

Forward-Down-Forward-Light: Hot Icicle

Vile will fire an explosive from his knee which then explodes into blue fire that suddenly travels upwards into the sky at a slow state. It hits off the ground and drags the opponent up into the sky.

Since the rising fire moves slow; Vile can actually have three of these on screen at once which can hit an unexpected airborne opponent as it knocks them out of the air.

Forward-Down-Forward-Medium: Territorial Pow

Vile will fire an explosive from his knee onto the ground in front of him which explodes on contact, in which afterwards explodes into three blasts near him. This move hits off the ground.

Forward-Down-Forward-Heavy: Shoulder Tackle

Vile will simply do a shoulder tackle that has him dodge projectiles, does it full screen and it causes a wall bounce.

Forward-Down-Forward-Attack(During Ride Armor): Ride Charge  

Vile will basically do a shoulder tackle attack with his Ride Armor. The button differs how far Vile will travel and all versions end with a wall bounce.

Down-Backward-Light (Can also be done in the air): Wild Horse Kick

Vile will jump to do a knee attack while letting of a stream of flames shoot out from his knee. Does multiple hits and causes a hard knockdown.

Down-Backward-Medium (Can also be done in the air):  Sea Dragon’s Rage

Vile will rush forward while thrusting his knee out to shoot out a cold steam which freezes the opponent on contact.

In the air he’ll rush forward but he doesn’t shoot it forwards, instead once he is above the opponent he’ll aim his knee downwards to freeze the opponent instead.

Down-Backward-Heavy: Rising Specter

Vile will bend down and aim his shoulder cannon upwards at an angle in which he’ll shoot a quick instant long-ranged purple laser that does a single hit but does tons of damage and can knock the opponent out of the air with no recovery time.

Down-Backward-Attack (During Ride Armor): Armor Crush

Vile will rush forward with his Ride Armor’s hand extended. If he connects he’ll grab the opponent, crushes him/her and then slams him/her onto the ground which causes a ground bounce.

The button differs the damage of this attack.

[HYPER COMBOS]

Down-Forward-Attack X2 (Can also be done in the air): Necro Burst

Vile will charge up his Shoulder Cannon saying “Ha ha ha! There is no escape!” as he unleashes a sphere of light all around him. It does tons of damage and the hits can be increased via button mashing.

Down-Backward-Attack X2: Splash Hit

Vile will say “Get a load of this!” as he throws a grenade at the ground which explodes on contact which then unleashes a purple tornado from the ground. This attack hits off the ground, forces the opponent up and the hits can be increased via whirling the control stick around.

Down-Down-Attack X2 (Level 3): Ride Armor

Vile will say “You can’s stop me now!” as he suddenly jumps into the air and lands in his Ride Armor.

Whlie like this Vile’s stats have been changed as he now has super armor and has a new barrage of attacks.

His basic attacks have also changed.

All ground attacks have him punch with forwards with the heavy one causing a ground bounce while the launcher is still the same.

All air attacks have him slam both fists downwards and if near the ground it causes a ground bounce.

Crouching attacks have him slam both fists downwards as well and it also causes a ground bounce.

Vile has super armor while in this mode and the default time limit is 20 seconds but if the opponent hits him enough times his Ride Armor can be destroyed and thus be forced back into going back fighting on foot.

Vile also cannot switch out allies while like this.

Forward-Down-Forward-Attack X2 (Level 3): Goliath Armor

Vile will say “Time to end this!” he’ll then rush forward with his fist out. If he connects a cutscene will occur.

Vile will say “Ha ha ha! Just as I thought!” he’ll then slam the opponent into the ground before lifting him/her up close to his shoulder cannon saying “You really are weak!” he’ll then fire a blank shot that blasts them away.

He’ll then hop back and suddenly land in his Goliath Armor which he then has walk forward towards the downed opponent and says “I’ll enjoy crushing you like the bug that you are!” as he does rapid stomping and punching attacks (in which the hits can be increased via button mashing) before picking the opponent up and then forcing him/her up close to armors cannons saying “Goodbye.” and then fires a strong point blank shot that causes instant heavy damage and sending the opponent flying.

The super ends.

(Zero) “This is goodbye Vile, now I must find your boss and finish him off to.”
